YOUNG OWLS U9s 2009 / 2010 Season

The Close season saw quite a few changes for last seasons U8s squad with John Hinde stepping down as manager to look after the U7s and five of the squad being selected for Sheffield Wednesdays Academy : Good Luck to all the boys that have departed and thanks for your efforts with the Young Owls.

This seasons squad has 7 new faces and from a couple of pre-season tournaments the early signs are very encouraging with all the new players bedding in very well with the retained players from last season.

The attitude ,commitment and performance levels shown during pre –season training by the players has been excellent and everyone concerned with the team is really looking forward to the new season which will start away at Crosspool on Sunday September 5th 2009.

The management team has a simple philosophy : ITS ALL ABOUT THE PLAYERS and our aims are clear , to develop the players individually and collectively whilst at the same time ensuring a safe and fun environment for them to play and train in.
