Managers Notes:

After a promising but slightly inconsistent 2008-09 season, we are looking forward to improving on our 5th place finish and cup final defeat.

The squad has been slightly tweaked and I’d like to thank the departing players for their efforts and attitude last season. On the same note I’d like to extend a warm welcome to our two new signings, Declan Healey and Liam Kime. Both lads have added some firepower to the squad and are looking very sharp in training.

I’d also like to welcome Darren Fairest and Simon Curry onto the coaching staff to assist throughout the season which will be of great benefit to my players.

Competition for places will be fierce and nobody will be guaranteed their starting place come September. Hopefully this healthy rivalry will keep players on their toes.

We have some exciting friendlies in the pipeline and the aim is to hit the ground running come the opening day of the season and have a real go at taking home some silverware this season.
