Manager’s Notes:

Another great year saw us finish runners-up in a very high quality ‘A’ division, losing out on the title in the very last game of the season. (again, a creditable achievement with the smallest squad in the division).

Undetered the lads returned to Cleethorpes for an end of season tournement. At the end of a heavy weekend, we contested the final for the third season running against a tough South Shields side …(the ony team to beat us in the group stages)…  after an exhausting afternoon trying to keep informed of happenings back at Hillsborough (in the Crystal Palace game), the Young Owls dug deep to win the final 2-1 (not bad for a team who’s keeper had not travelled and had no subs). The trophy was presented in the evening by Ex-Liverpool & Wales striker Ian Rush.

Thanks to everyone involved with the under 11′s team (09/10), Players, Staff, Parents, Families, Friends and Opponents.

 the new ‘under 12′s‘  Season 2010-11 starts here…..!   bring it on !!!
